Protein bliss balls

We are coming up to the time of the year where we start to forget about healthy eating, overindulging in food and alcohol. There is also the stress of finding presents for friends and family. Battling through the crowds of people in the mall, getting those Christmas specials. We are often tired from the year of hard work and find ourselves eating more chocolate and other sugary foods. As a result, we are not kept full and start reaching for more sugar to keep us going. It really is a vicious circle.

Creating some fun, easy, YUMMY and nutritious foods and treats isn’t difficult, it’s about having the right recipes. Well my friends, look no further, I have put together the easiest treat that you can have for snacks, add to platters to share with friends or sweet treats for the kids. They are protein packed so they will keep you full, rich in nutrients, sweetened with dates and very scrumptious.

- After 10 minutes, drain the water and add ingredients to a food processor

- Add protein powder and super food smoothie powder to processor

- Blend all ingredients until they form a ball in the food processor
